EUNETIPS is pleased to welcome the ANIPIO as a new member of its network.
ANIPIO, the Italian National Association of Nurses for the Prevention of Hospital Infections, was born on 27 September 1991 in Bologna, from the desire of a group of nurses responsible for infection control to network energy, knowledge and experience to fight hospital infections. In 2015, ANIPIO became the National Scientific Society of Infectious Risk Specialist Nurses.
ANIPIO's mission is to organize and guarantee professional and qualified support to all those who dedicate themselves to infectious risk through networking with other international entities, disseminating new knowledge, promoting the safety of care and supporting nurses and healthcare workers fighting healthcare-associated infections.
