Hygiene Requrirements for the Reprocessing of Medical Devices.

This is a recommendation from the Commission on Hospital Hygiene and Infection Prevention at the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) together with the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM). It describes the whole process of reprocessing of (all) medical devices (like operation instruments, endoscopes...) from (pre)cleaning through disinfection and sterilisation until delivery to users. To work according to this recommendation is mandatory in Germany according to federal law since 2011.
